Full Flex Plan

Full Flexible Benefits Plan with Employer Contributions

The employer sets a specific dollar amount that each employee can spend to purchase employer sponsored benefits.   The benefits options could include health insurance, vision and/or dental insurance, Flex spending accounts, etc.  Each employee elects particular benefits they prefer and they use the employer “credit dollars” to pay the cost of such benefits. 

If the employer credit dollars are not enough to cover the benefit elections of the employee, the employee can pay the extra cost with pre-tax contributions. 

If the employer credit dollars are more than the employee needs to cover the cost of the benefits they elect, the Plan can have an option where the employee can take the credit dollars in cash, as additional taxable wages.
